We discuss the problem of convergence of the so-called stable consistent approximations to problems in fluid dynamics. These arise in a natural way as outputs of numerical schemes. In particular, we consider the following issues: 1. Strong vs. weak convergence, oscillations and concentrations 2. Asymptotic limits 3. Visualising the weak limits, methods of averaging and applications.
